Hip Flexor Stretches
Hip flexor stretches are movements designed to lengthen the muscles at the front of the hip, especially the iliopsoas and related tissues. They work by placing the hip in extension and holding the position long enough to reduce perceived tightness and improve range of motion. These stretches matter because prolonged sitting and repetitive hip flexion can contribute to stiffness, discomfort, and altered posture.
