Bacterial Pneumonia
Bacterial pneumonia is a lung infection caused by bacteria that inflame the air sacs and may fill them with fluid or pus. It can develop after inhaling bacteria, following another respiratory infection, or when normal airway defenses are weakened, and commonly causes fever, cough, chest pain, and shortness of breath.
