Narcolepsy
Narcolepsy is a neurological sleep disorder characterized by excessive daytime sleepiness and an impaired boundary between sleep and wakefulness. Some people also experience sudden loss of muscle tone triggered by emotions, sleep paralysis, vivid dream-like experiences at sleep transitions, and disrupted nighttime sleep, often because of dysfunction in sleep-regulating brain systems.
