Bell's Palsy
Bell’s palsy is sudden weakness or paralysis of one side of the face caused by dysfunction of the facial nerve. Its precise cause is often unknown, although inflammation associated with viral reactivation is suspected; difficulty closing one eye, facial asymmetry, altered taste, and problems with eating or speaking may occur, and many people recover over time.
