Moxibustion
Moxibustion is a traditional therapy that burns dried mugwort near or on the skin to apply heat to specific areas or acupuncture points. The main effect is local warming and sensory stimulation, and it is used in some traditional systems for pain, circulation, or other symptoms, although evidence for many claims is limited.
