Ticagrelor

Ticagrelor is an antiplatelet drug used to reduce clot-related events in people with acute coronary syndromes or certain vascular disease risks. It reversibly blocks the P2Y12 ADP receptor on platelets, reducing platelet activation and aggregation and thereby lowering the chance of arterial thrombosis.
