Terbinafine
Terbinafine is an antifungal medicine used for skin and nail infections caused by dermatophytes. It inhibits fungal squalene epoxidase, disrupting ergosterol synthesis and damaging the fungal cell membrane, which helps clear infections that can otherwise be persistent and difficult to treat.
