Minoxidil

Minoxidil is a medication used topically for hair loss and, in oral form, for severe hypertension. It opens potassium channels and relaxes blood vessels; on the scalp it can prolong hair growth phases and increase follicle activity, which may slow hair thinning and promote regrowth.
