Febuxostat

Febuxostat is a urate-lowering medicine used to prevent gout attacks and treat chronic hyperuricemia. It inhibits xanthine oxidase, the enzyme that produces uric acid, which lowers urate levels and helps prevent crystal deposition in joints and tissues.
