TNF Inhibitors (Biologics)
TNF inhibitors are biologic immunosuppressants that block tumor necrosis factor, a key inflammatory cytokine. By dampening TNF-driven immune signaling, they can reduce inflammation and symptoms in autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and inflammatory bowel disease, but they also increase susceptibility to certain infections.
